Isla Trauma - Music Album art for Trevor Nelson Project

An illustration project for punk band Trevor Nelson Project, intense, fun, and packed with concept art, character and prop design, environmental art, and structural layout. The band pitched the core concept: a navigational map featuring five islands (one for each track on the album) arranged in an X layout, paired with handwritten notes, the color palette, and "Mapache" (Raccoon) as the lead character for the main island on the cover. From there, I had the creative freedom to build each island and its characters completely from scratch. We spent hours bouncing ideas back and forth with the band to make sure every visual detail tied directly into the lyrics—themes of self-discovery, emotional armor, and navigating life's hurdles. In the end, we built an entire little universe together.
